Ariel Rodriguez
Ariel Rodriguez - Maid Of Honor
“Hi, are you Alex?” followed by what can only be described as the limpest handshake known to humankind. And just like that… a friendship was born. Not only did Ariel introduce herself with the most unforgettable handshake of all time, she’s also the reason Alex landed her first gig in the entertainment industry. What started as coworkers quickly turned into one of those friendships where you go through everything together. From navigating the chaos of L.A., climbing corporate ladders, surviving heartbreak, celebrating love, and collecting some pretty great memories along the way—we’ve truly seen each other through it all. Somehow between work, life, and plenty of laughs, Ariel became one of Alex’s biggest supporters and closest friends. There was never a question that she’d be standing by her side on this day.
Rachel Quiseng
Rachel Quiseng - Bridesmaid
“Omg, you’re in Chappy too?!” Those were the very first words Alex and Rachel exchanged at San Diego State… and the rest is history. Rachel lived on the 3rd floor of the dorms, Alex lived on the 5th, and somehow those two floors produced years of memories that definitely belong in the SDSU history books. From late-night dorm hangouts (snoopy pranks!) to navigating college life together, their friendship/sisterhood quickly became one of those ride-or-die bonds that lasts long after graduation. They ended up being roommates for three of their four years at SDSU and also became sorority sisters—basically making them inseparable. There was never a doubt Rachel would be standing next to Alex on this day. Love you always, Rachel Quiseng (Lima)!
Claudia Carreto
Claudia Carreto - Bridesmaid
My baby sister and my only sister. When Claudia came into the world, she brought so much joy to our family… along with a few sleepless nights. Being ten years older meant I had the special privilege of watching her grow up and spending time babysitting along the way. One of my favorite memories will always be when I was 17 and playing in a high school softball tournament. I packed Claudia up for the day - juice boxes, snacks, and her own chair so she could sit on the sidelines and cheer me on. Over the years I’ve had the honor of watching her grow into the incredible, determined, and kind woman she is today. Life would be so much duller without her in it, and having her stand by my side on this day means more than words can say. Claudia, I love you so much and I’m so thankful to have you as my sister and part of our lives. Te quiero mucho, Caya.
Alex Cabrera
Alex Cabrera - Bridesmaid
Sixteen years ago, on move-in day at the Chappy dorms at SDSU, Alex and Alex first met on the 5th floor. Their first interaction? Alex (bride) delivering her now iconic hair flip and Alex (bridal party) clearly thinking she was iconic. Since those dorm room days, they’ve experienced a lot of life together. From college memories to building careers and lives in Los Angeles, they’ve watched each other grow through love, loss, and everything in between. There was even a brief (and memorable!) stint as roommates when Alex first moved to L.A. An Aries through and through, Alex brings plenty of fire to balance Alex’s Virgo earth energy. Sixteen years later, they’re still keeping each other humble, laughing through life, and showing up for one another every step of the way. So grateful for you always, Alex!
Martha Albarran
Martha Albarran - Bridesmaid
Martha, Manini, Maninz, Neenerz - my wonderful, kind-hearted line sister. From the very beginning, our friendship has been filled with the perfect mix of chaos, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Sorority life (and the endless Wednesday - Tuesday house parties) brought us together, but it’s the years of friendship since that have made our bond so special. Through all the fun, the celebrations, and the moments in between, Martha has always been someone who brings warmth, kindness, and a whole lot of joy wherever she goes. Big moments like this are meant to be shared with the people you love most, which is exactly why I’m so excited to have her standing by my side on this day. Love you, cutie!
Viridiana Elizarraras Galvan
Viridiana Elizarraras Galvan - Bridesmaid
My comadre and soon-to-be **sister squared**! Viri is not only my sorority line sister, but she’s also about to officially become my sister-in-law and I have the honor of being the godmother to her son, my soon-to-be husband’s nephew. Fate really knew what it was doing when it brought us together. We met 16 years ago on a chilly October night, and from that moment on, our lives have been beautifully intertwined. Over the years, we’ve shared laughter, memories, and milestones, big and small. Viri’s laughter lights up every room, and she’s always been someone you just want to celebrate life with. I had the privilege of standing beside her on her wedding day, and now I couldn’t be happier to have her standing beside me on mine. Here’s to sisterhood, family, and all the memories still to come. Cheers, comadre!
Misael Galvan
Misael Galvan - Best Man
Misael is my best friend, my favorite sibling, and now my best man in my wedding. He brings laughter, always looks out for my best interests, and is always the life of the party. I couldn't imagine saying 'I do' without him standing by my side. I have seen him grow into a great man, person, father, and now I am honored to have him as my best man at my wedding. Misael is charming, clever, has never hurt my mother, always wants the center of attention, but on November 7th, he will have to behave himself till the recalentado. He and God have put some of the best people by my side at the wedding as well. I was able to meet all my groomsmen through Misael and more importantly my future wife. Thank you, Misael, for attending SDSU and finding my future wife. Go Aztecs! Also, I was getting tired of checking the box single come around tax season.
Carlos "El Zancudo" Medellin
Carlos "El Zancudo" Medellin - Groomsman
Mr. Carlos Carlos is Misael's best friend but also one of my closest friends. He is so charismatic and always makes me laugh, especially when he drives Misael crazy. I consider him like a brother. He has always been there for me, even when he hasn't had to. Carlos is also the man I could not live my life without. He and his family have always been there for me. He helped me and Alex get closer together at "El Indio" because he wanted to go Proof that one day. Carlos, you know how much I love you, and you will always be my brother, no matter how much you stretch the truth.
Adrian "El Queso" Albrarran
Adrian "El Queso" Albrarran - Groomsman
Adrian, aka cheese, I met through Misael at the Snake Pit 2.0. In the beginning, we did not talk too much, but I did notice he was a smart and funny guy. Fast forward to the La Mesa house, where Misael and Adrian became roommates. Misael gained the most in the roommate situation. Adrian subsidized 90% of their living situation, including a couch, a personal AC unit, a coffee table, a TV, Netflix, HBO, Hulu, and many other things. When I would visit Misael in SD, I got to know Adrian better, and I noticed why so many loved Adrian. What started as appreciation through Misael and Alexandra, grew to love for the selfless person he is. Adrian has been there for many of my family and friends, and that is why I want him to be a part of this journey in my life.
Mr. Aaron Galvan
Mr. Aaron Galvan - Groomsman
Arron has always been my little guy. He’s the most loyal and responsible person I know and stood by me during a very tough time, even when I was hard on him. Being my brother didn’t automatically make him my groomsman—he earned it. Aaron is a huge part of my life, he was my roommate for the most important years I have lived and I’m grateful he will be with me for this next chapter. I love you, Aaron!
Alberto "Don Bigotes" Flores
Alberto "Don Bigotes" Flores - Groomsman
Alberto Ohhh Beeerrrtttt! Alberto has a big personality and even a bigger heart for anyone he knows. I gave him the nickname "speaker box" in 8th grade. He may talk a lot, but if you spend time listening, he will win you over. He won me over a long time ago. I love him like a brother. He is one of the few people I can be truly honest with. I had to have him in my wedding. I never want to let him go as a friend or a close friend. Alberto, you mean so much to me. I am happy to have you in my life right now and forever.
